Mineral Horizon explores the landscape as a memory rather than a place. The work is inspired by geological processes that unfold over vast periods of time, where erosion, sedimentation and mineral transformation continuously reshape the surface of the earth.
Through layered textures, translucent veils and oxidized chromatic fields, the painting evokes traces of matter in constant evolution. The horizon emerges not as a defined line, but as a threshold between visible and invisible forces, where time becomes embedded in the material itself.
Rather than depicting a specific landscape, the work invites contemplation of nature's slow rhythms and the silent dialogue between permanence and change. It reflects my ongoing interest in abstraction as a way of revealing the hidden structures and memories contained within matter.
