Rhapsody. Tenebroso
I come from Black as from Egypt. Chapter II
The image is part of a long series of images. You could say this is the series of my life. In 1993, the first works from this series were created and were the subject of my diploma at the painting department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. The promoter of this master's thesis, both painting and theoretical, was Professor Stefan Gierowski. Today, years later, I refer to this title only to say that I am constantly on my way. The journey is still going on.
It is a polyptych belonging to the long-standing series "The Abstract Landscape".
For years I have been fascinated by the "granular", atomic corpuscular structure of matter, which has a great coherence between the macro and the microcosm.
The image is composed based on non-Euclidean geometry, or rather natural geometry, the key to which is undoubtedly fractal geometry. This simple observation gives me a sense of freedom and the possibility of unlimited creativity in building a composition based on harmonized, complementary intuition and rationalism. The whole refers to recognizable landscapes and pieces of music with a specific formal structure or "verse" pieces (sic!).
The above description is only intended to sensitize the inquisitive that there is a hidden "music score" for these works for the author's use.
Next, you can delve into the unfettered, subjective view of the work without having to look for anything else because there is everything or nothing in it. And it all depends on our individual,
subjective readiness to look and to listen to which I sincerely encourage
