With Taipei 101 as the backdrop, it's like a quiet presence that accompanies people. I used Hakka floral fabric to create a patchwork of the Taipei 101 building, allowing memories of the past to gently remain in our lives. The clothing of the figures uses two different pieces of indigenous fabric, symbolizing lives from different cultures meeting and getting to know each other at the same moment.
This isn't a grand painting, but a cherished moment—when cultures draw closer and warmth arises between people, that instant is the most genuine and beautiful time in my heart.
