“The Language Beyond Words” Series: Messenger Medium: Watercolor
“The Language Beyond Words” emerged from an encounter in Wilsons Promontory National Park, Australia — an intimate moment of perceived interspecies communication between Forster and an Australian raven. Having sensed the recurring presence of the raven’s call over time, she found the bird appearing directly beside a hiking trail, initiating what she describes as a spontaneous divine channel: a conversation carried not in speech but in an intuitive star language arising from expanded states of consciousness. Created during her residency at BigCi (Bilpin International Ground for Creative Initiatives), the painting forms part of a larger multimedia presentation that includes video documentation of the original encounter.
The work explores communication beyond spoken language — a state of profound interconnectedness between human consciousness, nature, sound and the living field of existence. Blending visionary symbolism with lived spiritual practice, it reflects the philosophy at the heart of Forster’s Art of High Vibration: a way of living rooted in coherence, intuitive perception and conscious relationship with all divine beings.
The raven itself carries this meaning forward. Regarded across cultures and ages as messenger, guide and bridge between worlds, the bird becomes here a mirror of the artist’s own role as shamanic messenger between Earth and Cosmos — and an invitation to the viewer to contemplate a future humanity reawakened to its intrinsic connection with nature, the Earth and the intelligence quietly moving through both.
