Form of Gravitation concludes the Radiance of Presence series, capturing the stage in which space gathers around the radiance of the object, acquiring its own wholeness and depth. The environment no longer exists as dispersed or undefined — the distance between its elements gradually diminishes.
At the centre of the composition, a shoe exists in a fragile equilibrium between material form and inner state. Plant forms rising from the depths pass into the starry expanse, dissolving the boundary between different levels of the environment. A crystalline structure intensifies the vertical tension and, together with other elements extending beyond the borders of the composition, creates the sense of a field without a fixed limit.
The work approaches gravitation not as a physical action but as a state arising in the depth of the object. If in the preceding works of the series the object's own light only began to form new connections, here space is already perceived as a unified environment, held together by the radiance of presence.
