This artwork reconstructs the letters of "Don’t stop" through the system of "花押:Kao," a traditional Japanese monogram, blending cultural heritage with digital medium.
The core concept stems from a huge hematoma (cancer) in my chest diagnosed this year, embodying both biological and emotional dimensions. Capturing the intersection of anxiety and hope, the background graphic of the scattering, full-blooming flowering quince represents a prayer for the cessation and disappearance of my chronic illness and cancer. This stands in powerful contrast with my unwavering determination that my life blood will never stop flowing.
Rendered in a lacquer-like crimson reminiscent of soulblood, this logo art stands as a profound symbol of living and moving forward despite adversity.
This is a digital artwork with scalable display dimensions.
While the standard size is around 40 x 40 cm, it is rendered in high resolution to maintain pristine visual quality even when expanded up to 100 x 100 cm.
Furthermore, if the piece is to be physically printed, the artist will personally calibrate and adjust the data to perfectly suit the texture and character of traditional Japanese Washi paper.
