Kanji Artist
My works are based on kaō (花押), a traditional Japanese practice that dates back to the Heian period, where several characters are combined into a single symbolic form.
For the backgrounds of my calligraphy, I create collages incorporating photographs of plants and insects from my garden, and at times hand-drawn illustrations.
The calligraphy styles I use are adapted from traditional forms such as sōsho (cursive) and kaisho (standard script), resulting in original and more readable styles.
Except for commissioned works (and other special cases), each piece reflects my thoughts and the scenery I experienced at that moment, expressed through calligraphy and its background.
While rooted in tradition, my goal is to create a new form of Japanese art.
Although my main medium is digital art, I also create accessories featuring kaō.
All of my works are issued with an NFT certificate of authenticity, ensuring that each piece is truly one of a kind.
Additionally, for each piece, I provide a set including the digital rakkan (seal) from the calligraphy, a matching icon, and more.
For those who wish to have a printed version, I offer made-to-order works that are printed by skilled Japanese craftsmen, based on my specifications.
Each piece is printed on traditional washi paper and mounted on a panel.
As the type of washi is carefully selected for each artwork, this process requires additional time and cost; however, I do accept such custom orders.
Please note that, in the case of printed works (including panel mounting), additional costs—such as printing, shipping, and artist fees—will be added to the listed price.

Due to a neuromuscular disease, I spend most of my life lying down and am unable to go out.
Since 2019, however, I have been creating art little by little surrounded by the plants and insects in my garden.
