Chiara Zhu is a graphic designer born and based in Venice (07.01.1993), she believes in ‘co-creation’ and in the blending of different disciplines whereby graphic design is the real bridge that connects professional commitment and creativity.
She graduated with distinction in Design & Arts at the Free University of Bolzano with a thesis on editorial design and styling. Having accomplished a 6-month internship at Metadesign Berlin in the field of corporate communication design, she worked for the international architecture studio Snøhetta at the Oslo and Innsbruck offices as a graphic designer.
She has accomplished a Master in Brands, Communication & Culture at the Goldsmiths University of London, eager to know more about branded spaces and state-of-the-art phenomena surrounding branding and architecture. After graduation she has been collaborating as a freelancer with design studios in Venice, London and Milan.
As a visual artist, she gained awards in international competitions such as Arte Laguna Prize 2019 and IDA 2020. Some of her works have been exhibited during Milan Design Week 2021 as winner of the international call held by the architecture studio Park Associati.
She is currently working with the role as Global Brand Visual Graphic Designer for Bata Group.
