Born in Venice, (07.01.1993) Chiara is a brand designer and graphic artist graduated cum laude in Design & Arts at the Free University of Bolzano with a thesis on editorial design and styling. The magazine tackles the ambiguous relationship between desire and need investigated in some of the current political and societal phenomena.
Having accomplished a 6-month internship at Metadesign Berlin in the field of corporate communication design, she worked for the international architecture studio Snøhetta at the Oslo and Innsbruck offices, gathering further work experience in the fields of graphic and brand design. In Innsbruck, she was in charge of the overall graphic communication of the studio. During this time, she was able to combine her competences in visual design with the imagery of architecture and interior design.
She has recently accomplished a Master in Brands, Communication & Culture at Goldsmiths University of London and a course in Visual Anthropology and the City at UCL.
Chiara's interests and practice cover a wide range of fields: photography, graphic design, painting. In 2016, one of her photos has been selected by the institution Bevilacqua La Masa, Venice as one of the best 10 images in the North of Italy, and exhibited for the 100th collective exhibition of Bevilacqua La Masa.
In 2019, her painting 'Urban poetics 01' has been selected for the exhibition 'Abstract' in Milan, Villa Brentano, for the Independent Artists Institution. Chiara's photography has been exibited in London (July,2019) with a solo exhibition at Deptford Does Art. In 2019 she established her brand 'colorchiara' working as freelancer designer for private clients.
Chiara speaks Italian, English and German fluently, she is selflessly interested in the topic of ‘identity’, delving into visual and theoretical research for shaping solid and unprecedented visual concepts.
