Goldyn, PhD, is a contemporary artist born in Częstochowa, Poland, and based in Munich, Germany. Her practice combines photography, performance, and object-based work, using the body as a site for constructing symbolic narratives that engage with spirituality, cultural memory, and systems of power.
Through staged photographic images, she develops performative situations that merge ritual, theatricality, and archetypal figures—particularly female identities rooted in religious and historical iconography. Her works function as visual traces of ephemeral actions, where the body becomes both subject and medium, negotiating identity, transformation, and resistance.
Goldyn studied painting and sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, where she also completed her PhD. Her work has been presented internationally in exhibitions and biennale contexts in Venice, Rome, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, Madrid, London, New York, and Munich. Recent highlights include solo exhibitions at Palazzo della Cancelleria Vaticana in Rome and participation in the 60th Venice Biennale at Palazzo Pisani Revedin.
She is the recipient of several international awards, including the Premier Artist Prize (Contemporary Art Station, Barcelona) and First Prize at the International Nano Art Competition in Paris.
