Rebeca Bedani is a contemporary visual artist from Valinhos, São Paulo, Brazil. Self-taught, she began her artistic journey in childhood through graphite drawing and painting.
After pursuing an academic and professional career in Law, she returned to her artistic practice approximately eight years ago, developing a body of work centered on contemporary abstraction.
Her paintings investigate memory, symbolic architecture, inner landscapes, and temporality. Through layered textures, fragmented structures, and dynamic compositions, she explores the tension between permanence and transformation, construction and dissolution.
Materiality plays a central role in her artistic process. By building complex surfaces and spatial relationships, her works evoke traces of time, memory, and human experience, inviting viewers into contemplative spaces where personal and collective narratives converge.
