This work is based on the graffiti drawn by children with the theme of "peace", "hometown" and "future". They live in conflict-affected areas in Uganda, poor villages on the Cambodian border, areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, and the sacred place of Shingon Buddhism, Mt. Koya.
When I created this work, I used the children's irreplaceable graffiti as part of the painting, giving it a role to save adult loneliness.
At the same time, we expressed our dirty civilized world that wanted to be happy, both physically and mentally, and “dainichi nyorai” in the distance.
