We often fear the invasion of nature, yet rarely question our own.

A solitary grasshopper stands in a landscape transformed by industry. Smoke, steel, and abandoned structures dominate the horizon, while the fragile presence of life quietly endures. The insect is not portrayed as a threat, but as a witness—an observer of a world reshaped by human ambition.

Invasion challenges the viewer to reconsider who the true invader is. Is it the creature that has always belonged to this land, or the civilization that gradually replaced living ecosystems with concrete, metal, and smoke?

The work reflects on the fragile balance between progress and preservation, inviting us to look beyond the obvious and question the cost of the landscapes we create.
