“Glow” is a multimedia creation by musician and artist Bstract, featuring UK country-pop artist Emily Faye on vocals. Written, recorded, and produced by Bstract, the track blends his musical vision with Emily’s distinctive voice to form the foundation of the piece.
Visually, the artwork is built from multiple physical abstract paintings, digitally manipulated and combined with original photography and animation techniques. This unique fusion has seen “Glow” exhibited on some of the world’s biggest stages, from Times Square in New York to international galleries, most recently the Saatchi Gallery in London.
What sets “Glow” apart is its innovative use of Music NFT ownership. The bridge section features an acapella by Snoop Dogg, licensed through Bstract’s ownership of Doggies Theme Song (Acapella). Additional layers include backing vocals from Sia’s Souls Galaxy project (Ilori #5668) and a beat from Timbaland’s Beatclub (TIMEPieces x Timbaland: The Beatclub). Each NFT grants Bstract the rights to integrate these samples, demonstrating the true utility of Web3 in music creation.
