Bstract is a Channel Islands-based artist who creates original hand-painted, digitally
enhanced works of art sold on the blockchain. His symbolic abstract pieces draw
inspiration from his career as a professional musician, the beauty of nature and love, his
travels through diverse cultures, and his fascination with technology and innovation.
Over recent years, his art has been exhibited worldwide, from the Saatchi Gallery
(London) and Times Square (New York) to the Occulus Centre, 0x17 Gallery (New
York), Iham Gallery (Paris), Stratosphere (Miami Art Basel), Ghent Gallery and
billboards (Belgium), Baluarte San Per (Ibiza), Dany (Beijing), and NFT Tallinn
(Estonia). In May 2024, his work was even launched into space with the company
Turbo.
His achievements include sales on leading marketplaces such as SuperRare and
MakersPlace, features in Time’s Emerging Artist series, and speaking engagements at
international NFT conferences. Alongside his visual practice, Bstract has merged his
career as a professional musician with Web3, releasing sold-out tracks, performing at
global festivals, and signing with Gala Music. A notable milestone was his collaborative
collection with Emily Faye, pairing 100 unique songs with animated artworks to
celebrate the stories of women in Web3.
Bstract continues to innovate with AR, VR, audio-based, and dynamic art. His recent
work Tide — a dynamic piece reacting to live tidal data, created with Hugs x Transient
Labs — was awarded 2nd place and showcased in New York.
