The Place We're in is a video collage that loops uninterrupted for ever, even with its short duration of 49 seconds.
The idea started as a photographs in 360° of me inside my old flat in Birmingham, U.K. which I then developed as a 360° video. The video is shot using one single camera taking 89 shots around my flat with me performing different activities, this 89 shots are then mixed in post production and timed perfectly al to match each other, resulting in a jagged moving collage.
The audio pans around the left and right speakers dragging the spectators attention throughout the collage from left to right from the beginning until the end of the loop.
