"Landscape on the wall"

I painted this mural for the climbing wall at San Bernabé School in Trijueque, a small village in Guadalajara, Spain.
The project stems from a desire to integrate the school climbing wall with the landscape that defines the village´s identity. The mural reproduces the mountain silhouette visible from it´s most iconic viewpoint, bringing that everyday horizon into the educational space to transform it into a symbolic extension of the natural environment. In this way, the wall ceases to be a mere support structure and transforms into a link between the school, the local area, and the climbing experience, inviting students to grow, surpass their limits, and recognize he landscape as part of their own identity.
