The project is an immersive spatial experience video installation. The theme is "weightlessness", which is originally a physical concept, through the clever visual transformation and multi-media integration, to create a new visual experience for the audience. The work "Weightlessness" is a metaphor for modern urban life, ecological environment, and people's feelings and states in real life. The original intention of the design of the competition entry is to explore the relationship between human beings, cities, and the ecological environment. This installation creates a surreal spatial experience to evoke people's concerns and thoughts about the future of human survival environment. The designer hopes that the audience can feel a "weightless" state during the visit, reflecting on their own situation and confusion in urban life. The work is divided into two parts: the internal space and the external space. From the outside of the installation, there is a constantly growing "building" scene. Inside the installation, the audience is enveloped by rising "building" images and simulated "plants," creating a sense of falling. The installation emits a low and hollow mechanical roar, accompanied by the faint heartbeat of humans. This work provides an immersive exhibition experience for the audience through a multi-sensory presentation.Everyone is experiencing different stories in their respective cities. The biggest challenge is how to make the work resonate with each audience. The reason for selecting high-rise residential buildings as the main visual element of the work is that, as the most important pillar industry in China's rapid development process, it deeply affects everyone and every family. Through representative images and scenes, combined with each audience's own experiences, the audience can have different understandings of the work.
