The authentic work *The Pendelum Compass* is a pseudo-scientific light installation depicting a pendulum compass without any indication of known cardinal directions.
Do we still have control over our media, our identity, and our privacy, or have we lost our sense of direction? The compass rotates in all directions, prompting us to reflect on the direction in which we will continue to evolve.
This art crossover light installation is centrally filled with an abundance of individual lamps of varying sizes that deliberately do not light up. After all, it is not yet fixed which path we wish to illuminate. Only the horizontal poles glow blue, acting as guiding signposts on a busy socio-cultural road.
The luminous pendelum is an artistic interpretation, a philosophical tool, and an artistic impetus. Ultimately, it remains up to people to decide how we deal with new media technologies.
