The Night Watch: The day has its eyes, the night has its ears

The light strobes in the darkness and some shadows appear. It is not easy to recognize the objects, silhouettes, movements, gestures. We look carefully and It seems that we see what we have already seen, experienced and learnt. The reality seems to be a dream. The dream may seem to be the reality. The shadows of the night carry the memories of the day. The presence of the uncertain times is seen through the shadows, the movement of lines, sound and light.

Inspired in my personal story the project explores the relationships we have with the nature living in cities. This is a study of wild, invasive plants that are growing on a river bank. This study tries to question whether weeds should be deemed as undesirable, what qualities determine their survival, how environment influences on them, what we can learn from this knowledge.
