Stay
A simple word. A whisper. A quiet prayer in a world that urges us to move, to change, to forget.
This project was born from a need to hold on, to a moment, a memory, a presence. To resist disappearance.
These four lamps, made of bio-leather, are more than objects. They are rituals. Turning them on is not just lighting a space, it is entering a suspended moment, a pause, a breath.
Their shapes are imperfect, soft, alive. They carry the mark of bare hands, of gestures repeated slowly, of a body that listens to matter. They do not impose, they accompany.
The material, my own kombucha-based leather, is not neutral. It is skin. It is memory. It is a fragile resistance that holds warmth, care, and time.
I chose to work against the flow. To slow down. To stay. To remain in full silences, in the weight of shadow, in the intimacy of something made and remade.
"Stay", or “Resta”, is an invitation. To those who touch. To those who feel. To those who need to be reminded that presence is still possible. That even in instability, we can inhabit light.
