Phylax – The Sentinel draws on the archetype of the guardian, not as a heroic figure, but as an embodiment of vigilance, endurance and inner strength. The fragmented form holds a tension between protection and vulnerability, while traces of gold mark points of transition and transformation. Suspended between the mythical and the human, the figure suggests that strength does not lie in invulnerability, but in the capacity to remain present despite fracture.
