Glass has one of the most fascinating structures of all objects that people use every day. Instead of following traditional molecular structures, glass molecules are actually constantly moving to new positions. This is why the glass constantly reverses time at the molecular level. It looks like time is moving both forward and backward. This observation seems hallucinatory, and as such I chose the material for processing this topic.
This led me to compare this change of form with the image of consciousness that we then have when we use opiates, alcohol and other natural or synthetic substances. As a product of hallucination, or some mental or other illness..
Delirium tremens is the most famous in the world. That was my starting point (bottles) in the creation of this work... Bottles bent under high temperature into various monstrous shapes, metaphorically allude to hallucinations.
The mirror balls that distorts the vision in the eye of the beholder, associates that each of us can have a state of distorted consciousness in any form for several reasons. Under the influence of different living conditions (bad upbringing, various mistreatment in the family and outside it). Under the influence of various malicious system manipulations (media, internet, etc.).
Each of us faces life's challenges, with the decisions we make in order to move as easily and happily as possible in the value system in which we live.
