The audio cassette tape of the 1970s and the 80s sprang to my mind. And where there is a good old cassette tape, can a good old pencil be far behind? After all, they were inseparable friends, weren’t they? The pencil would get into one of the spools to slowly bring the tape to a desired position and it would help reel it back on to the spool. This work of art serves as a symbol of a peculiar and relishable emotion which this young generation has unfortunately never experienced.
