This terracotta canvas, created by Marilú Behar, explores a visual dialogue built from symbols, words, and colors that evoke shared emotions across cultures and geographies. Painted with acrylics after firing, the work reflects an experimental technique developed by the artist, in which the ceramic surface becomes a hybrid field between painting and relief. Hearts, flowers, animals, and text coexist as spontaneous signs of affection, memory, and belonging. Drawing from popular and pre-Columbian iconography, the piece transforms terracotta into a contemporary narrative space that speaks of connection, love, and collective identity across the American continent.
