MIGRATION

The main body of the installation Migration is made of a recycled broken vase.

In the accidental process of a vase been broken can be compared with a hardship that can also shake the human spirit. Both event , accident can cause  a loss of  identity . In order to survive this trauma humans have to adapt, invent a new identity. 

in the process of looking for a new identity the broken vase is taken out of its context and suspended horizontally. 

Still remaining a vessel , the broken vase once suspended horizontally and extended with papier mâché and metal rods acquires the lightness of a bird.

The remaining broken glass pieces scattered on a sandy base convey the difficulty of the adaptation.
