Using sustainable threads with coconut fiber, hemp, and other organic materials, create this weaved poncho from a small town in San Pablo Villa de Mitla. Oaxaca town of San Pablo Villa de Mitla. This work represents the culmination of indigenous work that is represented in color and tradition. The additional wood-carved hands are the indication and representation of farm workers as they provide resources of food and material for artisans to thrive and continue to make the work that is vital for small Indigenous communities to exist.
