Flow State presents the dynamic interplay of fluid, organic
forms that seem to rise and flow like strands of energy or currents of air.
With this sculpture I tried to find the balance between
nature and modernity, between movement and stillness, showing the complexity
and simplicity of our live paths.
It shapes both the physical world and human experience,
encapsulating a moment of transformation and evolution.
The open spaces within the lines are intentionally searched
for further layer of complexity and depth. I wanted the sculpture to allow
light and shadow to play across its surfaces, depending on the viewer's
perspective and the environment in which it's placed.
The sculpture is crafted from plywood. First, the material
is laminated into a large block. Then, each line is meticulously cut from this
block and carved into its respective form. When assembled, the lines create a
dynamic composition, where individual elements converge to form a cohesive flow
of movement.
