Esercizio di torsione

This work is part of the Primitive Mirror series, a body of works born in a search for a language of the elemental, far away from any aspiration of sophisticated discourses, creating from a primitive vision. It is in this spirit that time and time again I give myself to the task of combining simple rudimentary elements in a direct way, with as little technical support as possible. I fabricate a series of simple polygons which I combine intuitively to find progressions , repetitions and variations of a certain archetypical resonance.

These processes become exercises through which I practice my elemental abilities and become more in contact with a way of pecieving my own existence through a primitive vision: one that seeks no magnificent messages but rather aims at remainig simple and dynamic.
