The coming and going, the hope of migrating, is an Installation that consists of 4 pictorial works mounted as a column in which the act of migrating is represented from its symbolism as a natural transit in the human being that is motivated by the hope of a better future.
The cactus made with footprints is a constant element in the artist's work, representing the journey and experience of migrating, using green and red as colors that give emotion to the symbol.
This installation also takes inspiration from the ancient Mayan codices in terms of paper and the way it is folded.
The work represents the transit, the stories of those who were lost in the landscape as well as those who are full of hope, living stories of constant migration.
