Apocalyps Cow relates to our global disaster and destruction.
To translate this issue into images I use linoleum "snipperts", the waste remaining during the traditional linocut print technique.
I'm going here also into semantic to create multiple levels of meaning to this work.
In a way I'm picking apart the meaning of the traditional linocut printing technique to draw different conclusion.
The image of the three cows stripped out of their skin is composed out of the preserved "lino-cuts", symbolizing fossils.
Apocalyps Cow is in a way sort of fragmented Fossils Landscape which carries the foot imprint of life in a lost world.
IN AN ALMOST McLuhanesque SENSE THEN, THE MEDIUM HAS IN A VERY LITERALLY WAY BECOME AN INTRINSIC PART OF THE MESSAGE.
