PORNOBUNNY by TOTOCOP is a neo-pop sculptural series that blends emotional tension, sensuality, and theatricality through hybrid figures with a powerful visual impact. The works explore body language, desire, power, and vulnerability, transforming the bunny character into a contemporary symbol suspended between irony and seduction.
The Circus Lovers series emerges from the encounter between the PORNO BUNNY universe and the aesthetic of contemporary circus performance. Through contemporary acrobatic languages, the series celebrates movement, discipline, sensuality, and emotional exposure, transforming circus performers into sculptural icons suspended between strength and vulnerability.
The artwork Woody portrays an acrobat balancing entirely on his hands atop a monumental rotating heart. Frozen in a fluid and sinuously controlled movement, the performer appears to suspend gravity itself, balancing every muscle of his body with extreme precision and elegance. Despite being upside down, the figure radiates harmony, sensuality, and control, transforming physical tension into visual poetry.
Inspired by a real balancing performer known for captivating audiences through the sensuality and grace of his inverted movements, the sculpture explores the idea of emotional equilibrium. The heart beneath the acrobat becomes more than a symbolic object: it represents love as an unstable, constantly shifting force that requires strength, vulnerability, trust, and continuous adjustment in order not to fall.
The work reflects on the fragile balance between passion and control, desire and stability, intimacy and exposure. Remaining balanced on love becomes an act of resistance, discipline, and surrender at the same time.
Like the performer’s original act, Woody was conceived as an interactive sculpture. The monumental heart on which the artist performs is fully rotatable, allowing the viewer to activate the artwork and continuously alter the perception of movement and balance. The changing perspectives recreate the hypnotic sensation of the live performance, turning the audience into an active part of the experience.
