“Birth of a Tube” marks the initial stage in the Entity series, exploring the earliest moment of emergence. Inspired by the metamorphosis of dragonflies, whose bodies begin in a pale, almost colourless state before gradually developing their final appearance, the work reflects the fragile beginning of life and transformation. The ceramic forms seem to emerge from a soft wool environment that functions as a protective habitat, suggesting a space in which new structures can develop. Rather than representing a finished organism, the installation focuses on the potential of growth and the continuous formation of identity.
