“Becoming an Entity” explores the fragile process of transformation and the emergence of identity. Inspired by the metamorphosis of dragonflies, whose bodies are initially almost colourless before gradually developing their final appearance, the work captures a moment of becoming rather than completion. The glazed ceramic form appears to emerge from a soft wool environment that evokes a protective habitat, an undefined world in which growth, vulnerability and change can coexist. As part of the Entity series, the installation reflects identity as a continuous process of development rather than a fixed state.
