Prejudices, noise, illusions. It is so easy to see only what is meant for the eyes,
and it is so difficult to live in this time, when you see depth where others can barely see on the surface, with a lightness that has already become an inherent part of me, with paradoxes that move my life, work, space and viewer. With the disintegration without which my work would not stop, it comes at a time when I am going through loss, when inside me there is a story like this work hides me, from afar you will succumb to the optical illusion of the paradox of weight, but when you look inside the massive rocks you will see, feel, understand.
BALZIZRAS operates not as a static art object, but as a self-contained spatial and somatic regulation apparatus. Utilizing a proprietary hybrid chassis developed under the Saphea Phenomenal Spatial Development framework, the installation achieves absolute structural autonomy. The core technical execution relies on a zero-chemical synthesis—transforming a single, basic material exclusively through precise thermal, aqueous, and pigmentary manipulation to secure strict, permanent museum-grade preservation standards on an acid-free base.
The physical apparatus introduces a severe engineering paradox: visually manifesting as a massive, 100-kg geological monolith of dense stone and cratered debris, the actual physical structure weighs precisely 3.9 kg, functioning as a freestanding unit or suspended from a single nail. This calculated mass dissonance functions as a high-frequency behavioral pull. Before conscious interpretation or intellectual categorization can begin, the installation triggers an immediate pre-semantic cognitive bypass within the viewer. The human bodily orientation responds to the simulated gravitational threat of the mass, forcing an instinctual defensive tension that is instantly inverted into a state of absolute, unconditional safety as the engineered lightness and structural isolation of the piece become physically apparent.
The tectonic core of the monolith contains a hidden cryptonarrative, structurally sealed from direct frontal view and accessible solely via a lower anamorphic perspective through a precise semantic aperture. Looking upward through this cratered window, the spectator deciphers a petrified kinetic collision: a violent, directional impulse of systemic order forcing an opposing, chaotic entity to dissolve its anatomical density. The escaping form transmutes its mass into a gravity-defying frequency, actively melting into the upper compositional matrix. This internal narrative is a literal crystallization of the underlying physical law of the work: the channelization of civilizational collapse, material decay, and personal loss into a stabilized, negentropic framework.
This process of raw disintegration is continuously punctuated by integrated solar micro-mechanisms embedded within the rock fracture. Operating entirely free from external electrical infrastructure, these autonomous components respond to ambient darkness by emitting a stochastic luminescence—fleeting, volatile flashes of light that appear and vanish in unpredictable intervals, mimicking terminal cosmic events.
The installation actively reconfigures the energy density of the entire environment. It modulates room acoustics by diffusing sound waves and suppressing ambient reverberation, effectively capturing the chaotic dispersion of linear time into a petrified situation. BALZIZRAS extracts entropy from its surroundings, forces the physical body to cease external motor activity, and enforces an unexpected, absolute calm—reducing the noise of reality into a state of pure, unconditional presence.
