Destruction is a way of building connection, reflecting both the rupture of being raised far from ancestral land and the self-reckoning of queer identity. Through slashing, burning, and layering, I invite viewers to connect with my personal and cultural journey. An Arm And A Leg is a self-portrait that rejects a standardized form. It's built from older works, plastic refuse, and found fabrics, each with its own intimate history. Hidden fears and unresolved emotions seek to rupture through my bodily landscapes.
