This vessel is part of The Abacena Collection, a project born from my need to reconnect with the land of my origins, which I left more than twenty years ago. Each piece draws from the aesthetics of the fragment, the archaeological find, and the unfinished, inspired by ceramic artifacts unearthed in the necropolis of ancient Abacena.
The glaze that adorns each piece lies at the core of the project. Its formula is the result of research into and experimentation with the natural materials of the local area. Through the glaze, each work becomes a sculptural synthesis of the geological and cultural history of the territory
