This is a still from the recording of the performance 'Moved' I made for a dance performance.
The story: It all started with the video 'The meeting' of Marianne Turck in which drawn figures may or may not meet each other. Choreographer Eva Dewaele and visual artist Marianne Turck together with nine dancers, spent nine months looking for their own interpretation of this video through dance. The stage is a street where people meet each other willingly or unintentionally. It looks like a miniature society. We showed life with its ups and downs, with beauty an ugliness, with fear and courage, with much and little, with silence and loudness. Life, as well as art, is an invitation to move and to be moved. The photo: captures the moment (snapshot) when the dancers, surrounded by beautiful warm colors and seemingly carefree, walk across the stage: Street-life.
