A female touch

The well-known iconic photo (@ via Reuters) is the source of inspiration for this drawing (Ipad).

In this work I strip the scene of all architectural beauty, because the reason for this encounter does not tolerate that beauty.

The two world leaders also get a poker face - all human emotion has disappeared.

In the middle of the table, I replaced the original banal flower arrangement with a drawing of arum lilies. Two

slender, red flowers are very close together. They seem to look at each other with an open mind. (in contrast to the two figures).

The flowers radiate beauty, emotion, warmth, elegance – femininity: 'a female touch'.
