Resigned Leu(ch)te reflects a state that is familiar to almost everyone: the fragile moment between surrender and new beginnings. The figure appears withdrawn, resting at the edge of a loud and exaggerated world filled with symbols, expectations, and competing perspectives.

As throughout the Leu(ch)te series, the figure is not meant to represent a specific individual but rather acts as a mirror for the viewer. Each person is invited to discover their own place within the image. Some identify with the resigned figure, others with the observers or the symbolic characters in the background. Every perspective creates a different narrative.

The work invites viewers to question how their own perception is shaped by personal experiences, beliefs, and the limitations of individual perspective.
