Miriam is a photographer, light painting artist, and educator whose work explores the relationship between light, perception, and human emotion. Using light as her primary artistic medium, she creates carefully staged images that blur the boundaries between photography and painting, transforming light into a visual language of its own.
As founder and director of Stilakademie.art, Miriam has been teaching photography for more than fifteen years, helping photographers develop both their technical skills and their personal visual voice. She also serves as a Board Member of PhotoSuisse, the national photography association of Switzerland, and as FIAP Liaison Officer for Switzerland, actively supporting international photographic exchange and competitions.
Her work has received international recognition, including the distinction of A-FIAP (Artiste FIAP), and has been exhibited in solo and international group exhibitions. Her ongoing series Leu(ch)te has become her artistic signature, exploring identity, perception, and the many layers of human experience through the expressive use of light.
