This is a display of decorative skulls. That much is reality. In Mexico, they celebrate Day of the Dead (‘Día de los Muertos”). The skulls are ceramic, with lots of colour. I created abstract shapes to resemble coffins, which reveal a second layer of the picture. That second layer represents what others might see. They are complementary colours. For all I know, the colours I see are totally different from the one others see. There is always a different perspective and perception of what we see before us.
