My partner and I had to stay the night in a part of London, called Hampstead. We stayed in a hotel in a street called "Millionaire's Row", however the actual room was very cheap. The decor was very expensive, but very old. It had been a luxury home and but is now rundown. The people who now run the hotel are very eccentric, decorating it in their own, slightly low-brow style. This room has two beds, side by side, but totally off centre and there is a pool table at the foot of the beds, not more than 30 cms away. The room is real, but I interpret it in my own way. I also symbolically use the complimentary colours in a second layer to represent different views from my own.
