The work features a sketch of a bird, an archetype of freedom: understood not only as the absence of boundaries, but also as the capacity and intention to bring forth the imaginative thought inherent in humanity, even within our context, which is increasingly dominated by conformism and reification. It is an invitation to cultivate the imagination as a virtue of the soul and as a creative act, to rebel and escape an existence shaped by the pervasive binary nature of new technologies. The entire image overflows because the very boundaries that delineate it do not represent an outline, but rather a starting point, from which the random overlapping of multiple elements even imaginary ones creates an unreal and “allusive” landscape. This landscape must not be too abstract; it must nevertheless present a vertical symmetry, so that the viewer can discern something in it that can be traced back to the human and the animal. A free interpretation is created, unbound by any order or value, inviting the viewer to imagine what their unconscious associates with the image. This allusive aspect points to an inexhaustible interpretive path, extending beyond the boundaries.Another interpretation highlights the desire to cross borders, migrate to new lands, and turn our gaze toward the new and the future. It is an invitation to cultivate new possibilities for regeneration and collective reimagining of the Earth’s environment, which has been severely altered by human activity.

L’opera presenta lo schizzo di un uccello, archetipo della libertà: intesa non solo come assenza di confini, ma anche come capacità e volontà di far emergere il pensiero immaginativo insito nell’umanità, anche nel nostro contesto, sempre più dominato dal conformismo e dalla reificazione. È un invito a coltivare l’immaginazione come virtù dell’anima e come atto creativo, per ribellarsi e sfuggire a un’esistenza plasmata dalla natura binaria pervasiva delle nuove tecnologie. L’intera immagine trabocca perché i confini stessi che la delineano non rappresentano un contorno, bensì un punto di partenza, da cui la sovrapposizione casuale di molteplici elementi, anche immaginari, crea un paesaggio irreale e «allusivo». Questo paesaggio non deve essere troppo astratto; deve tuttavia presentare una simmetria verticale, in modo che lo spettatore possa scorgervi qualcosa che sia riconducibile all’umano e all’animale. Si crea così un’interpretazione libera, non vincolata da alcun ordine o valore, che invita lo spettatore a immaginare ciò che il proprio inconscio associa all’immagine. Questo aspetto allusivo rimanda a un percorso interpretativo inesauribile, che si estende oltre i confini. Un’altra interpretazione mette in luce il desiderio di attraversare i confini, migrare verso nuove terre e rivolgere lo sguardo verso il nuovo e il futuro. È un invito a coltivare nuove possibilità di rigenerazione e di ripensamento collettivo dell’ambiente terrestre, che è stato gravemente alterato dall’attività umana.
