Yu Shu Lien is a strong force in the story about a powerful sword and the thief who dared to steal it. Yu Shu Lien is wise and understands universal energy and philosophy, and at every turn she demonstrates her command and respect for nature and how she works. In this painting I tried to capture a moment where she is conveying to her enemy (the thief) that she will not tolerate the grievous injustice. Using her Will and Breath, she moves to do the right thing.
