Whispers of the Inner Self

My work has always been about what lies hidden beneath the surface. I use medical X-rays as my canvas, not for their clinical precision, but to reclaim them—taking something cold and diagnostic and turning it into a space for intimate storytelling. I’m fascinated by how these images, usually meant to find illness, can actually be used to map the landscape of the human soul.

Whispers of the Inner Self is really about those quiet, often overlooked moments of introspection. The figures, rendered in my signature blue, act as vessels for our private memories and internal dialogues. By layering fragments of daily life inside these silhouettes, I wanted to show that we are so much more than our physical bodies. We are a collection of stories, dreams, and subtle emotions that we carry around every day.

This piece is an invitation to pause and listen to those whispers. It’s my way of reflecting on how we hold onto our past, our connections, and our deepest thoughts—transforming the 'diagnostic' into something profoundly human, poetic, and alive.
