My work has always been a way to look at what hides beneath the surface. I use medical materials not for their clinical precision, but to reclaim them taking objects that usually symbolize fragility and illness and turning them into tools for intimate storytelling. I’m fascinated by how we can map the landscape of the human soul through the very things we often fear.
Flower of Existence is a deeply personal chapter in that journey. By placing a medical infusion bag at the center of the piece, I wanted to flip the narrative: I’ve transformed an object of 'need' into a source of life. The rose blooming from the serum represents that stubborn resilience—how existence finds a way to persist and flourish, even when it’s tethered to the medical realm.
This piece is an invitation to look at our vulnerability through a new lens. It’s a quiet meditation on how we nurture life, how we carry our own strength, and how something as clinical as a treatment can, in the right light, become the very thing that sustains our beauty and our spirit.
