Series ‘An Invitation from the Sea and Skies’ (2025 - 2026)
This work is about the experience of looking at the sea and the skies as moments and space for contemplating, slowing down and finding silence. In this work Robert aims to reflect both his personal experience and reflections on the sea and skies, while also celebrating the extraordinary beauty of these visual impressions.
This is one of those works that was strongly led by the direction of its first layer, I wanted to keep the airiness and uplifting, light energy of the work, while keeping the strong sense of the subtle movement. The work feels like these clouds express this otherworldly place where the soul feels safe and peaceful.
For me observing and enjoying nature is essential to me in these tumultuous times with the constant flow of excessive information by all types of media.
