Voice

Laughter and tears, whispers and cries—each voice is different, yet all belong to the same self.

Presented as a diptych, the two panels resonate with one another and reflect a self that exists between separation and connection, difference and unity, where inner and outer worlds continuously echo each other.

Every voice—gentle or fierce, fragile or unwavering—is part of who we are.

Yet all of them are my voice.

This work is part of an ongoing exploration of pictorial supports within my practice. I treat canvas and washi not as hierarchical materials, but as equal grounds for expression. Although each requires a different approach, both function as places where my work can take form.

The orientation of the work remains open and may be determined in relation to the exhibition space.
