For me, childbirth is an unforgettable experience. Our ancestors made earthenware representing childbirth scenes. (Birth vessels). I filled the vessel with their food and modern food and soaked it with mother's milk. When I fill the vessel with food, the food feels as if it is a precious child being held and protected by the mother's body. I depicted how it was transformed into the cells of the body. Mother's milk has been a source of life for mammals since before Homo sapiens was born, symbolizing our connection to our ancestors. On the other hand, there are also burial jars for the burial of children's bodies and earthenware with human masks for re-interment (re-burial of a once-buried and re-boned body). Birth and death are connected, and we can see that earthenware was an indispensable part of life, death, and food. The mouth in the center is drawn at the position of the mother's navel. It represents the fact that mothers also once lived by taking nourishment from their navels. The mouth is a very important organ that is created as an outlet for the hole (proto-intestine) that forms from the anus very early in the development of the ovum. Babies also use the mouth area (face) to find and drink from the breast from the time they are just born. The mouth and its surrounding area are used by living creatures to ingest nutrients, and they are also sensory organs to search for them.
