All our actions leave vestiges always. I realized that there were also traces in my paintings, so why not use them? I started to layer all the vestiges left by my painting, recycling all the plastic that was used.
The idea was born from a motivation or a lack of motivation. From your story. From the pains, the tides, the heights and the falls. From the deepest bowels. From turbulence. From the food with depths carefully tailored to measure. From the road traversed, never jumped. From the longed-for surface. From the deepest ocean. From the lonely cactus in the desert. From sand in the wind. From the eyes that close and open to see again. From the unsettled mind. From love, genuine love, true love. From family. From friendship. From beautiful feelings. From heartbreaking feelings. From synesthesia. From colours. From magic. From aftershaves. From the 5. From the roses with thorns. From the orchid. From the DNA chain. From RNA. From From the mitochondrion and the logarithm. From sodium, potassium, rubidium, caesium and francium. From EverDub. From dark techno. From the piano. From chords and frequencies. From emotions. From medicine. From justice.
Creativity is discovery, exploration, love and soul. I realized that I painted with love and that the vestiges were the soul of it all. Every vestige of life shapes what we are... vestiges of nights, vestiges of moments, of feelings, of sensations, of my emotions, of every kiss, of every song I listened to, of every taste bud around the whole tongue exploding in a dreamlike taste, of the sea, ...nothing goes unnoticed in our history.
Eros and psyche coexisted in every act of expression. Every time I painted, a vestige of what was left behind.
The collection represents all our acts from love and soul, shape our life. In the centre and core you will find the trace left by them.
It is suspended art, not hung.
A living art, where what you see captured goes beyond. It does not die on the wall, but that expressionism surprises you with a new vision, only if you look at it from another point of view.
The process, the energy, the expansion, the rage. Every intrinsic emotion during the creative process, as well as the execution of it, is just as important as the final result. A different vision for whoever looks at it and from where they look at it.
There are no words, perfect figures, or gestures in the stroke that express what I feel while I paint. It is love and it is soul. With all the beauty of it and with all the pain that Action painting also inspires.
Art is movement, it is the viewer's gaze with all the vestiges of what that soul lived and that body felt. That's why creating a single image that died on the canvas and had no life beyond it made me want that vision to have a much more expansive journey, not just a reflection of what I wanted to express, but for the spectator to understand that art expresses much more than what you see. Why don't you move around the painting? Do you feel the same now?
The transparency and light of the works gives the viewer the experience of being able to feel and visualise what the artist wants to express, which does not die on one side only. But creates a prima....
The creative process is as important as the result.
I don't title the paintings because I want the viewer to be free to feel what he sees. The important thing is who is looking and where they are looking from and that the viewer is inspired by all the traces of the love and the soul they have experienced.
The mind gives what is not seen.
Art expresses much more than what you see.
I seek to convey a set of emotions rather than represent a reality.
